We have many opportunities at Dubbo’s 94.3 for you to contribute and have fun doing it. Some require a few hours a month, others a little more!

An Advocate is a person who speaks on behalf of Dubbo’s 94.3. We seek those who will remind their friends and associates about Dubbo’s 94.3 in their churches, their work place, in fact, anywhere the opportunity presents. Being on the spot the Advocate is our frontline representative. An advocate can be instrumental in recruiting a volunteer just by telling someone what a great job they think they could do for Dubbo’s 94.3. Any Member, or even a Dubbo’s 94.3 listener, can be an advocate for Dubbo’s 94.3. This is a vital task. If you decide to be an Advocate please let us know.

Dubbo’s 94.3 needs many advocates.

Board members set the direction for Dubbo’s 94.3. Board members are elected at the Annual General Meeting, meet every second month to review the activities at Dubbo’s 94.3, and to plan future activities. Board members may also represent the views of their church, or the community, at Dubbo’s 94.3 meetings.

The Board consists of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and other general members who may have specific roles. All that is needed is a willingness to whole-heartedly participate in the vision and work of Dubbo’s 94.3.

More Board members needed.

Dubbo’s 94.3 has need of those who co-ordinate strategically important functions:

  • Fund Raising
  • Membership
  • Publicity
  • Sponsorship

These are vital roles and the work doesn’t need to be restricted to one person. Each of these co-ordinators needs assistants.

The Programming Committee is intended to be a focus group advising Dubbo’s 94.3 on the suitability of content, reviewing program proposals and monitoring Dubbo’s 94.3 transmissions. Membership of the Committee is open to any Dubbo’s 94.3 Member. The Committee meets each month. If you would like to be a member of the this focus group and assist to make our programming more community responsive just contact Dubbo’s 94.3 and we will find a place for you.

The Radio Presenter is the voice of Dubbo’s 94.3 94.3.

A presenter announces the run of station presentations, voices community service announcements and sponsors messages, and may present a featured program they have developed. Dubbo’s 94.3 broadcasts 24/7 and so has many slots for presenters. We can never have too many presenters. We are also seeking those who would revel in Talk Back radio.

Presenters are needed right now!

A vital part of Dubbo’s 94.3’s operations is the installation and maintenance of various pieces of equipment and associated systems. Technical expertise is required for electronic equipment, information systems, office equipment and other installations. Technicians aren’t needed every day but they are needed.

You can never have too many technicians.

If your skills or interests don’t fit the above, that’s alright because we also need volunteers who will just be there to help out when there is an activity or a need. This is the ideal way to get to know Dubbo’s 94.3 and other volunteers.

Some of the many jobs that help is needed for:

  • Answering the phone
  • Cleaning the studio
  • Manning a fund raiser
  • Maintaining the grounds at the transmitter site
  • Surveying the Listeners
  • Assisting the coordinators and officers
  • Finding other helpers
